This DIY 90-degree RP-SMA cable is specifically designed for the GX12 radio, allowing users to modify the controller’s antenna setup by using the DIY SMA ports on the back of the radio. By replacing the built-in folding antennas, users can connect any RP-SMA-compatible antenna optimized for their preferred frequency. This setup is ideal for long-range flights, frequency-specific tuning, and adding high-gain antennas for enhanced performance.

NOTES:
- Reverse Polarity (RP) SMA connectors have the same outer housing as SMA connectors, but the polarity of the connector is reversed. Male RP-SMA connectors have a center sleeve (no pin) and inside threads, whereas female RP-SMA connectors have a center pin and outside threads. The term “Reverse Polarity” refers to this difference in connector polarity, not to the signal polarity.
